Here is what you need to know about Jezzy- She is an independent girl so she should be the only dog in her future home. Her enthusiasm for the things she enjoys in life is inspiring and tends to rub off on anyone she happens to be around. We have her in the front office and kennels office often and she does a very good job of keeping herself entertained and waiting to go for a potty break.

We will update you on Wall-E as we learn more! He is in a temporary foster as we wait for a space to open up in the rescue. Wall-E is a boxer mix - likely mixed with cattle dog. Luckily, the shelter reached out to Boxers and Buddies to get this good boy safe. Though no fault of his own, Wall-E ended up in the shelter. He is wonderful with people and other dogs. Wall-E is a great, happy and playful boy.

We still have a bit to go, but we are enthusiastic that Twinkle will make a full recovery and a wonderful companion! She loves cuddles and bum scratches and is looking forward to having her own fur back so she no longer has to wear sweaters and coats! As she is healing, her personality is showing more and more. She is good with people, cats and other dogs.
Twinkle is a shining star! She came to Boxers and Buddies a complete mess! She was missing 70% of her fur, itchy, covered in wounds and scabs.Ī mix of allergy medication, limited ingredient food and medicated baths have started to turn Twinkle around. Zora would do best with a well-adjusted/socialized male dog. However, she can be redirected using treats and responds well to praise.
Zora is working on her house manners and crate training but is extremely bright and learns quickly.īecause she wasn't exposed to other dogs and new people, she is reactive to both. She is completely housetrained, rides perfectly in the car, and walks well on leash with no pulling (see below for exceptions). But the thing she loves most is being petted and snuggling with her dog brothers and foster humans. Zora is very playful and exuberant, and loves all kinds of toys.
She came into rescue from a local shelter, and before that she lived her entire life in a fenced yard with her littermate.
