Definitely keeping this one! Pics and clips to follow. LIST PRICE: 599.99 MANUFACTURER: Vox Amplification, The studio-quality reverb adds incredible dimension and ambience considering the AC10’s portable size. Will be rolling some tubes today and a Greenback in it soon. I think for a small amp for jam sessions and even gigs that you can mic it at this is a great amp for the price point. Whether you run the master up and the gain low, or the gain up and master low it sounds great. Not being one to like to borrow others’ gear I made a quick stop to my GC to look at small combo amps for some odd reason my bassist recommended I keep my Super Lead at home. The digital reverb has a wide range too so you have to be careful where you set it, but I’m impressed with it as well. The AC10C1 really cranks when pushed to its limits, and it’s more than suitable for coffee shop gigs and applications where a larger amp might be too much. So yesterday my bassist invited me to a small jam session at a local bar outside of town. For this reason, the AC10 has become a highly coveted piece of VOX history since it’s discontinuation in 1965. The AC10 was one of the first amplifiers to bear the VOX name and was available only for a short period of time in the early 1960s. Their are two sides of my playing now really, loud and heavy, riff and lead stuff. I’m going to be using this small combo as a portable upstairs/downstairs amp, out of the house jamming and studio stuff too. The Bass adds a good amount of girth to the overall sound without making it muddy. The AC10 was one of the first amplifiers to bear the VOX name and has long been adored for his ability to achieve rich, articulate tube tone at very manageable volumes. A limited edition tan AC10 for classic looks and sound. 1 I’ve worked myself from finding a used Pathfinder up to something a litttttle more robust, of course ugh hahaha. The EQ is Bass and Treble and the range is very wide. The 10” Celestion is decent, it’s no Greenback but it compliments the Vox chime well. Sounds good a living room volumes and can hold its own at a small club gig. This thing sounds great! It doesn’t sound cheap at all, it actually sounds very big for as small as it is. This is one of the best bang for the buck out there. I think it should probably be a Vox AC10 (JC22/40 makes the short list as does a Princeton Reverb and an AC15). Let me say I haven’t been this impressed with a low wattage amp in a while. Clearly I need a new amp to go with the RIC 12. VOX AC10 C1 The new AC10C1 is a 10 watt tube amplifier that joins VOX's flagship lineup of tube amps, the Custom Series. Obviously I ended up walking out with the Vox.

I was set on a Blues Junior since I’ve been wanting one for a while but it just wasn’t sounding right through my Les Paul. So yesterday my bassist invited me to a small jam session at a local bar outside of town.
